Wesleyan’s Indigenous Studies Research Network (ISRN) brings together an interdisciplinary group of Wesleyan faculty and staff who engage with—or would like to learn more about—the analytics, research methodologies, epistemological frames, and approaches of Indigenous Studies. As a faculty working group, ISRN’s first goal is to offer a supportive and productive space for members to workshop drafts, share ideas, and discuss their research. Its second goal is to facilitate and where possible sponsor talks and workshops with Indigenous and allied scholars from outside of Wesleyan. ISRN’s membership is diverse in both background and disciplinary approach, including scholars working in the social sciences, the humanities, and even the natural sciences. We welcome interested colleagues who might wish to learn more or participate in the network.
